my question for you skyye and any other readers is; at what point do you classify someone a “player”? and what are peoples oppions on those who “play the game”?
Well swingfriend, I believe that a “player” is a male that is skilled at manipulating people, especially women. He is very skilled at seducing women with only the intention of having sex with her and pretends to have emotions or to care about the woman in order to achieve this goal. Now some readers may be wondering what the difference is between a player and someone who is just a natural with the opposite sex. Well in my opinion the main difference is attitude. Players do not care if they have to lie about having true feelings for the person and tend to treat them like play toys … when they get bored they move on. So to summarize, I classify a person as a player when they reach the point where they do not care about the people that they manipulate and whether they have to lie about actually caring for the person.
For those that play the game .. I have no quarrels with those that are able to play the game and do but only to a certain extent. When the game becomes harmful to others and the person playing it begins to pretend to care for the person and is willing to do whatever or say whatever it takes … then the game has gone too far. It is ok to flirt with the opposite sex. I am a natural flirter and tend to flirt often. However, I have never lied to a female about my intention or feeling. If I am not looking for something serious then I won’t say so just so I can get her to go further. That I will simply not stand for. But then again this is my opinion.
